STAGE SCHOOL is an independent part-time stage school based in East Kilbride. It is the only part time theatre school where students from the age of 2yrs - 18 yrs can come along and train to a high and professional standard in preparation for the world of the entertainment industry. 

The Shona Halford Stage SchoolOnly recognised school in the area where aspiring performers can train in all aspects of theatre arts. The school was founded in 2005 by principal Shona Halford who realised that todays performer required more than just dance, drama or singing training - they need to be competent in all three! Starting with just 30 pupils, the school has grown from strength to strength and now provides tuition to over 250 students on a weekly basis.

There are classes suitable for beginners of all ages, as well as those with previous experience.  As well as learning technical skills, STAGE SCHOOL places a strong emphasis on performance. This helps to improve childrens’ self confidence in a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere as well as improving their fitness capabilities.  
Shona Halford has become a household name due to the phenomenal success the School has enjoyed. The school caters for students aged 2-18 with new enrolments every day and is dedicated to providing well rounded professional tuition in dance, singing, theatrical performance, musical theatre and stagecraft.

We are delighted to be working in association with Live and Loud Casting Agency, where the students who attend the school can become part of the professional industry for the young performer.  We have already had 64 of our students filiming alongside t.v. personalites such as Robert Carlisle and Joe McFaden.
